• Some of the people talking trash about AI in Hollywood are those making money from it — in part because they don’t want other creatives to beat them to it.

• Just because you’re a bestselling New York Times author with over 800,000 social media followers doesn’t mean you make more money than a coffee cart owner. Status does not equal stability — and this is part of the reason why I wrote my book Write for Money and Power.

• Kyle and I caught the most recent Tech Roast Show, easily one of the best comedy events in SF where former-tech-bros-turned-comedians roast their audience of techies. They also travel to other cities, so highly recommend seeing a show if you haven’t already.
