Story: The Orphanage Collective
The Orphanage Collective began as a way to help creatives cultivate a better community. This project needed high-end branding materials, from the messaging down to the content strategy, in order to impress its niche audience.
I created all the written materials for the company and consulted with the founder to support him through the content creation journey.
I worked closely with the founder of Orphanage to ensure that every piece of content we created for our internal and external network was in line with his quality standards, and kept the air of exclusivity that was key to the brand.
What is Orphanage? Who does it serve? I created all of the core documentation -- both the technical bylaws and the external-facing copy -- to help shepherd the company into its initial launch.
Because Orphanage was created for a niche community, I helped to create a marketing strategy that spoke to the key collaborators we were trying to reach.
The Orphanage Collective was able to pull off the impossible: become a profitable enterprise that benefited all of the creatives within it. Great branding and documentation helped to achieve that goal by giving the company a professional sheen and to help the creatives trust the process they were opting in to.
