Years of working as a script doctor and editor have boiled the art of writing down into its most basic parts for Helen—within moments of reading someone’s work, she can identify the writer’s weaknesses, strengths, and hidden talents. Hire Helen to diagnose what areas of your own writing you can improve on, create strategies for completing that novel or screenplay, or lead you in poetry workshops and other exercises in cultivating discipline and creativity.

Amy Suto

hourly rate: $200/hour

fixed rate: project dependent

Amy started her writing career at the University of Southern California's prestigious Writing for Screen & Television program, which is harder to get admitted into than Harvard Law. From there, she graduated and immediately began working in the industry, starting as an assistant at the literary agency Verve, and then moving her way up the ranks, working on different television shows at studios like MGM and streamers like Netflix. She co-wrote episode 206 of the show CONDOR (Audience/MGM/Skydance) and created the scripted podcast The Last Station, about the last radio station after the apocalypse. Her debut novel is set to come out in 2021.

Amy offers two kinds of writing coaching: first, she helps writers who are interested in writing novels and film & TV plan out both the practical side of their career as well as workshop material. Secondly, she also helps to coach writers looking to make a living through freelancing.
